About Us

A long time ago, an ambitious property investor began his search for an agency to manage a portfolio of buy-to-let investments.

Most agencies weren’t staffed by property owners, but by young people with little attention to detail and even less concern for the properties they were supposed to be managing.

Reasoning that nobody better understands what landlords need from their management team than other landlords, he set up The Lettings Group to succeed where others have so often failed.

Key to our success is a thorough tenant vetting process, which combines detailed referencing with face-to-face meetings.

It’s helped us drive down bad tenants to just 0.2% and means we’ve never needed to rely on the Court system to resolve an issue. We also boast ultra-fast turnaround times between tenancies – usually within 24-48 hours. It’s another reason landlords trust us to maximise ROI.
